The electric fan has a large diameter and can create an incredibly cold flurry of air that will cool even the hottest person and they really can make a hot room much more comfortable in summer.
Electric fans sit on your desk or any other flat surface and are plugged into the mains power supply. They often have several power settings and so you can choose how strong you would like the desk fan to blow and therefore how much of a cooling effect you would like. There are also many electric desk top fans that rotate from side to side as they fan and so they can cool a large area, this is excellent if you have several people that are sharing an electric fan or if you only want to be cooled by the fan every now and again.
Electric desk top fans are great as they are so easy to place in the home and provide a constant supply of cold air in your direction.
