Welcome to the Single Air Conditioning page, the single air conditioning units have a hose that has to be positioned so that it can expel the hot air outdoors.
The single air conditioning units do not have an outdoors unit which does the work and so they are more noisy and less convenient to use as you have to have the hose passing through a window or whole in the wall. They are very quick and easy to set up though and so if you only want air conditioning every now and again then a single unit is a very good buy. They are also cheaper than the split systems and so for cheap air conditioning they are a great option.
There are two types of single air conditioner unit; the portable and the fixed units. The portable air conditioner units can be placed anywhere at which you can place the hose so that the hot air can escape and also at which you can plug it into the mains power supply. This makes them great for use around the home as you can place them in any room that has a window and you can also pack them away when they are not in use. The fixed air conditioning units are attached to a wall and have the hose ducked through the wall and to the outdoors. These are much more efficient and easier to use as there is no set-up needed once they are installed but you do have to have it on your wall permanently.
We have listed lots of shops on the right that offer air conditioning including single portable and fixed air conditioning systems. We suggest that you have a good shop around as there are lots of companies that offer air conditioning and so if you shop around you are sure to find a cheaper deal and also ensure that the company that you choose are suitable for your needs.
